Suggestions. The following suggestions have been received
The Police Museum in Bridgend, Laycock Abbey, SS Great Britain, Bristol, Wells Cathedral and the National Arboretum.
At events that we cannot fill within our membership, we offer the vacancies to members of neighbouring u3a Branches. (This would help us, for example, to fill coaches on our trips thus possibly decreasing the cost).
Games Using Welsh Media. This is on a VERY informal basis in the Foyer on Wednesdays from 12:00 to 13:00.
Monthly Raffle. At the General Meeting in October, it was announced that we would hold a monthly raffle at £1 per ticket. This is an attempt to boost our funds after running coach trips at a deficit.
The Poetry Group will next meet in October.
The Theatre group, Cinema group and Culture group will meet when a suitable event is available.
The Gardening and Ambler's groups have been suspended for the time being.
Please keep your new suggestions for new groups and trips coming
