The Art & Architecture group meet on the 4th Thursday of the month between 14:00 and 16:00 in the Church hall to the rear of Tabernacle Chapel in Efail Isaf.
They usually watch a DVD on a particular artist, art movement, architect or architectural style and then have a discussion about various points of interest. There is a break halfway through for refreshments and the charge is £2.50 per meeting.
They also organise visits to various place of interest such as the National Museum of Wales, National Trust houses and other places of historical interest.
Some of the subjects they have covered recently include Rene Magritte, British Art in the 19th Century, American 20th Century Architecture, Painters from the Low Countries and the Pitmen Painters.
